Seattle-based education technology company Ravenna Solutions acquired by Education Brands
Ravenna Solutions, a Seattle-based provider of enrollment management software for K-12 private schools was acquired through Education marks, which works with more than 4,000 schools across the country.
Together, Ravenna and Education Brands say they will become “the premier provider of cloud-based software and payment solutions for private schools K-12 – admissions, enrollment, school management software and students to online donation solutions, tuition management, summer programs. , alumni management, acquisition cards and more, âsaid Mike Barros, CEO of Education Brands, in a blog post.
The two organizations did not disclose the terms of the agreement.
Ravenna said in the blog post that existing schools using her platform will not see any significant changes in staff and customer service contacts. Linda Haitani, former CEO of Ravenna Solutions, will retain a leadership position within the company as General Manager.
A group of Pacific Northwest investors, the Alliance of Angels, who led an $ 850,000 investment in Ravenna Solutions in 2014, helped put the deal together.
Ravenna Solutions in 2012 partnered with a group of private schools in Seattle to make it easier for schools to process applications. Since then, the business has grown to serve schools across the country.
Education Brands is a division of MB Parent Holdings, based in Knoxville, Tennessee. It has grown to work with over 4,000 and 650,000 families by acquiring educational technology companies like TADS, Diamond Spirit, Senior systems.
