Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the Ballard neighborhood to participate in the future of the Salmon Park playground. Please Join us at the park on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to noon to review the schematic design and comment on three playground equipment proposals. Please join us! Salmon Bay Park is a neighborhood park in Ballard at 2001 NW Canoe Pl, Seattle WA 98117.

Another way to participate is to look at the concept of schematic design and play the showcase of equipment options on the project site then provide feedback via the online survey – https://seattle.surveymonkey.com/r/SalmonBayDesign. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this planning of the playground renovation to date and we encourage everyone to participate in these opportunities to contribute.

Three playground equipment options will be presented (the newly replaced zipline will be retained), as well as the design concept that provides access improvements and replaces site furnishings. All the renovated elements will meet the safety and accessibility standards in force.
