Seattle Parks and Recreation Vacation Closures

Many Seattle parks and recreation facilities will be closed or on modified schedules due to winter vacations. Installations that remain open throughout the vacation are parks and boat ramps.

Community centers,
Centers for adolescents,
Swimming pools,
Environmental learning centers,
Small trades centers
Closed Friday, December 24; Saturday 25 December; Friday December 31; and Saturday January 1.

For Small Trades Centers, no programming from 12/19 to 1/2

Amy Yee Tennis Center Closed Saturday December 25 and Saturday January 1.

Modified schedules:
Friday 24 December from 8.45 a.m. to 1.45 p.m.
Friday December 31: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Golf courses and shooting ranges West Seattle:
Friday December 24: Closes at 2 p.m. (last 18-hole cart rental at 9:30 a.m.)
Saturday December 25: Closed
New Year’s Eve (December 31) and New Year’s Day (January 1): normal hours

Interbay, Jackson & Jefferson:
Friday, December 24: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday December 25: Closed
New Year’s Eve (December 31): 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
New Year’s Day (January 1): normal hours

Gardens The Kubota Garden will remain open during the holidays.

The Seattle Japanese Garden is closed for the season.

The Volunteer Park Conservatory will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday December 25 (Christmas) and Saturday January 1 (New Year).
