West Seattle Blog… | Coverage as you go: 14 schools @ West Seattle Education Fair

6:39 p.m.: In progress at the moment Seattle Lutheran High School gymnasium at the north end of The Junction, fourteen local schools have representatives at the Seattle West Education Fair, ready to talk with you, serving pre-8th classes. There is free parking in the SLHS parking lot directly in front of the gymnasium (4100 SW Genesee), the entrance to which is marked with a large bunch of balloons. Here’s who’s here:

Here too, Roxbury Spine and Wellness Clinic (sponsor BMS), Freedom13.org, a child safety education organization, and we – we are sponsoring the event, doing live coverage. Entry is free and it’s a relaxed wandering setup – drop by anytime before 8:30 p.m.

UPDATE 19:29: If you bring little ones, there is a play area where they can get creative.

Another hour, it goes quickly and the participation rate was good.

UPDATE AT 8:19 PM: With the World Series and Seahawks game – plus bedtime for the kids – things have slowed down and some of the participants are retreating, so we don’t recommend trying to rush at the last minute.
